Safety in the field

Not only do we provide PPE during each field trip, but our staff are also trained to provide effective safety provision and instruction.

In the event of a safety incident, our staff are equipped with an emergency action plan, which allows them to quickly identify the nearest medical facilities. Whether a pharmacy visit is needed or a trip to a major hospital, our staff are trained to respond to your needs.

Insurances

• We hold full Liability Insurance, including:
• Liability cover for all fieldtrip attendees.
• Specific, tailored coverage for our geology fieldtrip activities.

• ACCIDENT INSURANCE
• We hold full coverage for accidental death, permanent disability and medical and pharmaceutical assistance.

Transport security

Our coaches, buses and vans are equipped with the following safety features:

• Vehicle tracking systems (In Vehicle Tracking System – IVTS)
• Seatbelts for all seats in all vehicles
• ABS Braking Systems
• ASR Traction control.
• First Aid kit

Drivers: Safety-assured. Trained and qualified in First Aid and correct AED use.+info
